The community of parents at The School at Columbia University plays an integral role in building the culture of The School. An active PTA allows parents to work with The School's administration and faculty on issues relating to curriculum, social events, and policy.
Every parent is encouraged to be an active participant in their own child's learning. Two conferences are scheduled during the year as well as ongoing dialog with faculty. Some conferences include students as active participants.
